About Squeeze

We are a cold-pressed juicery.  That’s the Cliff’s Notes description of us, but we are so much more than just a place to come grab a juice, a smoothie, or lunch.  We are part of your journey; a journey to being healthy and happy, fit and full of energy . . . to being the best version of yourself.  What you put in your body matters.

Meet the Owners

As an adolescent, I was a late-developer; skinny, shorter than the other boys, and pretty self-conscious about it.  I suppose that this is where my journey that led up to the conception of Squeeze began.  At 15 or 16, I started lifting weights in my basement and had my first protein shake.  It was kind of gross, but still, I was hooked.  I was desperate to do something about my size, and before long, I became quite the expert smoothie maker.  In 1995, I had my first smoothie that I didn’t make myself, at a shop in Los Angeles called Juice Plus.  I enjoyed it and the best part was that I didn’t have to do the work.  Juice Plus became a regular stop for me and it didn’t go unnoticed that it was busy every time I visited.  It got me thinking, and although I didn’t act on my ideas at the time, they never left my mind.

Never HPP

High-pressure pasteurization, or HPP, is a process that neutralizes molecules that cause juice to spoil faster.  This allows HPP-treated juice to last up to 45 days.  Although less destructive than heat pasteurization, some nutrients and enzymes are compromised in the HPP process, and structural changes on the cellular level may even occur.  HPP is a form of processing and is not something we will ever utilize.  We care that our juice is fresh and in your hands as soon after it’s pressed as possible.  Let’s face it, we’d all rather drink a juice that is 4 hours old than one that’s 4 weeks old.

Our Ingredients

Kale – This leafy green is chock full of essential vitamins A, C, and K as well as minerals like copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorous. A cup has only 40 calories, but packs 3 grams of protein. Benefits include lowering risk of heart disease and stroke, preservation of bone mineral density, reduction of kidney stone formation, improved macular health, leveling of blood sugar, lowering of blood pressure, and maintaining skin and hair health.

Beets – Naturally occurring nitrates in beets help relax and dilate blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure. Beets boost stamina and are great for runners or those involved in endurance activities. Beets are a unique source of betaine, a nutrient that helps protect cells, proteins, and enzymes from environmental stress, as well as combat inflammation, protect internal organs, and improve vascular risk factors. Beets support the body’s detoxification process and help purify the blood and the liver.

Cleanses

Why Cleanse?

Whether your current diet is “clean” or you live on fast-food, you can benefit from a juice cleanse.  Toxins are everywhere: in the water we drink, the food we eat, the air we breathe.  Although our bodies are designed to eliminate toxic waste, the exposure to toxins in the current world we live is so high, we need to take measures to allow our bodies to keep up.

FAQs

What is cold-pressed juice?

Cold-pressing is a method of juicing that does not apply heat or friction, thereby preserving the nutrients and enzymes present in the juice. Cold-pressing also limits oxidation during the juicing process and does not compromise the integrity of the juice.  The result is a juice that is fresh, nutrient dense, rich in color, and full of flavor. Our juices are cold-pressed daily to ensure you have fresh juice each day. They are bottled, sealed, and refrigerated immediately after pressing to ensure you are receiving the highest quality juice possible.
